Why it suits people who hate gyms
A gym expects you to already know what to do, then leaves you to get on with it. A class is the opposite. Somebody tells you what’s next, notices when it drifts, and decides how hard it ought to be.
That takes away the biggest barrier for most of us, which isn’t effort at all. It’s not knowing what you’re meant to be doing.
Come asyou are
Coming back after a long time off
If it’s been years, do say so. It changes nothing about whether you’re welcome, but it does change how we set your springs and which options we offer you during the class.
Starting in Foundations, once a week, is a perfectly good way back into moving regularly. No grand plan required.
Being unfit is a reason to come, not a reason to wait until you’re fitter.
How we’ll look after you
You’ll be guided the whole way, at a pace that suits you, and we’ll never ask you to push through something that hurts. If an exercise isn’t working for you today, we’ll find one that does.
